Frequently asked questions
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
Yes, a short one. There's a 3-month minimum starting from your go-live date, which gives the assistant time to prove itself. After that, it's month to month.
How do I cancel?
After the 3-month minimum, email us at emma@tryalwaysonfrontdesk.com with 30 days' notice. No calls, no hoops. We'll turn off your assistant, and if you ask within 30 days we'll send you an export of the leads it collected for you.
Which websites does it work on?
Almost any website where you can add a small code snippet, including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, GoDaddy and custom-built sites. We send step-by-step instructions for your platform. Some website builders only allow custom code on paid plans; if yours does, we'll let you know. You can also have your web person paste it in.
Do I need to get on a call or meeting?
No. Setup happens through a short online form, and everything else (your preview, changes and support) happens by email or text. You can do it all on your own schedule.
What happens if the assistant doesn't know an answer?
It doesn't guess. It's trained only on the information you approve. When a question falls outside that, it lets the customer know, offers to take their name and number so you can follow up, or points them to your booking link.
How do leads reach me?
By email the moment they come in, with the customer's name, phone number and what they need. Text alerts to your phone are available too. You choose where they go on the onboarding form.
Is it HIPAA compliant? Can patients use it for medical questions?
No. The assistant isn't for medical advice, patient records or health information, and it isn't a HIPAA-compliant system. For dental, chiropractic and physical therapy offices, we set it up to share general information only (hours, services, prices and booking) and to collect basic contact details. It asks visitors not to share medical details. Please check with your own compliance advisor before using it.
What data does it collect, and who owns it?
Only what's needed to follow up: name, phone number or email, and a short note about what the person needs. You own your business information and the leads collected for you. We never sell personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How fast can I be live?
You'll get a private preview link within 3 business days of submitting your onboarding form. Once you approve it, you can go live as soon as the snippet is on your website.
What's the founding-client offer?
For a limited number of early clients, setup is 50% off ($248.50 instead of $497). In exchange, we ask for an honest testimonial after you've used it for about a month. You approve the wording before anything is published, and we'll note that you received a discount.
